For customers: Learn how to find a trained 3X4 practitioner

Customers can use our Practitioner Locator to connect with a certified practitioner in the 3X4 network. A 3X4 practitioner helps you get deeper insight into your results and build a personalized health plan that combines your genes with your lifestyle.

Every practitioner listed on the Practitioner Locator has completed 3X4 Certification Training, so they know how to read a 3X4 Blueprint report and turn it into recommendations you can act on.

What a 3X4 practitioner does

Your 3X4 results show how your genes influence areas such as nutrition, fitness, hormones, activity, and cellular health. A practitioner adds the context around it. They are trained to:

  • Interpret your genetic results and explain what they mean for you
  • Show how your genes interact with your current diet, training, and lifestyle
  • Give you tailored guidance on food, movement, and supplements
  • Support you over time as your goals and circumstances change

Your genes do not change, but your life does. Practitioners can revisit your plan as things shift, as most practitioners offer follow-up sessions.

How to search the Practitioner Locator

The Locator gives you three ways to narrow the list:

Location. Find practitioners near you for in-person consultations.

Telehealth. Find practitioners who consult virtually, which is useful if there is nobody close by or you prefer remote appointments.

Specialties. Filter by the areas you care most about, such as metabolic health, hormone health, or sports performance.

Each listing shows the practitioner's credentials, their specialties, and whether they consult in person, online, or both. Reach out to the practitioner directly using the contact details on their listing.

If you have not tested yet

You can find a practitioner before you order. Many people prefer this, because it means someone is already lined up to walk them through their results.

  1. Open the Practitioner Locator and shortlist practitioners by location, telehealth, or specialty.
  2. Contact a practitioner you like and ask what their consultations include and how they work with 3X4 result
  3. Ask your practitioner to order your 3X4 Genetics Test. 
  4. Register your kit and return your DNA sample.
  5. Your practitioner will contact you once your results are ready.

If you already have your results

If you already have a 3X4 Genetics report, you can bring it to any certified practitioner in the network.

  1. Open the Practitioner Locator and shortlist practitioners by location, telehealth, or specialty.
  2. Contact your chosen practitioner and mention that you have already completed a 3X4 Genetics Test.
  3. To authorize your practitioner to access your results, complete this form - Genetic Data Authorization Form - ahead of your appointment so they can prepare.
  4. Book your consultation.

What to expect from your consultation

Initial consultations usually run 60 to 90 minutes, which gives your practitioner time to go through your genetic results alongside your health history. Follow-up sessions are typically 30 to 60 minutes and focus on specific parts of your plan.

Consultations cost extra and are not included in the price of your test. Fees and scheduling are handled by each practitioner's own practice, so confirm the details with them when you book.

Do I need to see a practitioner?

No. You can use the 3X4 Health app on your own. Most people find that a practitioner helps them get more out of their results, especially in the first few months when they are deciding what to change and in what order.

You do not need an existing health concern to book a consultation. Practitioners work with anyone who wants to understand their genetics and make more informed choices.

A 3X4 practitioner complements the care you get from your regular healthcare provider rather than replacing it. Keep your provider in the loop on any significant changes to your nutrition, supplements, or training.

Your privacy

Your genetic data stays encrypted and is never shared without your consent. You decide which practitioner sees your report.
